building dynamics is a private practice of chartered building surveyors based near Bristol with a satellite office in Taunton, Somerset.

In September 2000, Nick Blackman established the practice to provide specialist building surveying advice to clients who know the level of service they require can only come from a dedicated professional.

Nick had been in private practice in Bristol for twelve years, having been an equity partner in a small building surveying business and, prior to that, regional head of building surveying for a national practice.

There is a need for high quality consultancy advice delivered in a professional and commercially sensitive manner. It is considered that this is best provided with sharp focus on the whole property 'picture', in which the skills and expertise of the chartered building surveyor either stand alone or are integrated with the best professionals in other property and related disciplines; true building dynamics.

Nick has consistently achieved the standards expected of the most demanding clients and is pleased that some of his longest-standing clients still rely on his advice. They have been so kind as to refer others who have now become established clients.
